How to Volunteer
AirFest is our chance to bring together the things that best represent Hangar 24: world-class aviation, local craft beer, delicious food, and most of all our families, friends, and community. Volunteers have been a major part of the event each year, and AirFest wouldn’t be as big as it is without their help.
Volunteers will be assigned a 4 hr shift, between 8am and 11pm. By working a four hour shift you will earn yourself free access to the event, a special 2015 Airfest volunteer t-shirt, and an invitation to a Volunteer “Thank You!” Party later in the year. At the party you’ll hang out with the Hangar 24 crew and enjoy dinner on us, plenty of beer (of course there will be beer!), and a chance to win some awesome prizes.
If you choose to volunteer your time, and we hope you do, there will be a required one hour training session during the week prior to AirFest. We want to make sure that you know exactly what to do on the day of the AirFest and that you are comfortable with your assignment. This will help the event run more smoothly and will enhance everybody’s experience at the event, including yours!
Thank you for considering volunteering at the 2015 event. Volunteers are essential to the success of this event, and we truly appreciate your willingness to participate. Hope to see you at AirFest in May!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! We are overwhelmed with your support, and would love to have you help on the day of the event. If you are still interested in volunteering, please report to the volunteer check-in tent on the day of AirFest.
